Matthijs van Baardewijk is a young Dutch composer, born after the Fall of Communism.
At the age of 8, he started to learn reading notes and playing the keyboard, all by himself.
Later he started following lessons by a music teacher who was strongly influenced by Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis.
At the age of 15, Matthijs bought his first synthesizer and more synthesizers followed.
